Nelly is a junior associate in the Intellectual Property / TMT practice. She represents clients before the courts and the Chamber for Patent Disputes.

Her professional expertise includes:

• Preparing legal documents, including procedural documents, contracts and legal opinions;
• Advising on intellectual property law;
• Conducting comprehensive legal due diligence of IP assets;
• Assisting with transactions involving the transfer and licensing of rights to IP assets;
• Supporting the registration of intellectual property rights.

Nelly’s project experience includes:

• Defending the interests of the Prosveshcheniye publishing house in a dispute concerning a ban on the use of mathematics textbooks and the recovery of compensation;
• Representing the Arkhangelskaya vodka brand in a series of disputes concerning the invalidation of legal protection granted to the Altayskaya Vershina trade marks;
• Advising a well-known pharmaceutical company on the legal protection of pharmaceutical inventions;
• Conducting legal due diligence of intellectual property rights for more than 50 companies;
• Supporting the registration of more than 50 trade marks.

Nelly graduated with honours from the Faculty of Law of Lomonosov Moscow State University. She also graduated with honours from the Information Technology and Intellectual Property Law track of the Master’s programme in Digital Law at the Faculty of Law of HSE University. She completed professional retraining under the Legal English programme, a joint course in legal English and the fundamentals of English law at the Faculty of Law of HSE University.

Nelly is a member of the Council of the IP&IT LAW Alumni Association, a winner of legal competitions and international conferences, and the author of several articles on intellectual property law.
