Daria advises and represents clients in Russian arbitrazh courts and courts of general jurisdiction on a wide range of matters, including commercial and administrative disputes. She is currently pursuing a degree in Private Law at the Higher School of Economics.
Among her recent projects:
- Comprehensive legal support of stevedoring companies in conflicts with supervisory authorities (Rosprirodnadzor, Rospotrebnadzor, environmental and transport prosecutor's offices), including: participation in administrative proceedings, challenging decisions of authorities in arbitration courts and courts of general jurisdiction, preparation of complaints against actions of supervisory authorities to prosecutor's offices.
- Representating of seaports in cases related to violations of environmental and sanitary-epidemiological legislation.
- Advising and representing a seaport in cases involving the recovery of penalties from counterparties for failing to deliver agreed cargo volumes.
- Advising and representing an economically significant organisation in matters of suspending the exercise of corporate rights by a foreign holding company.
- Defending the interests of a Russian developer in a dispute with a former counterparty regarding the invalidation of transactions and the recovery of more than 297 million rubles.
- Protecting the interests of a Russian investor in a dispute with a European depository concerning the unlawful blocking of assets worth over $2 million.
- Representing a client in Russian courts to convert securities of a foreign issuer and restore rights to shares that were violated by foreign financial institutions.
Daria is the winner of the 8th Russian Arbitration Association’s Online Arbitration Competition and the Russian Private Law Student Moot Competitions. She now mentors Higher School of Economics teams participating in the Russian Arbitration Association’s Online Arbitration Competition.
She is fluent in English.
