Yury Nadezhin to Lecture on Data Protection at Peter the Great St Petersburg Polytechnic University
From 3 March 2026, the Higher School of Public Administration at Peter the Great St Petersburg Polytechnic University will launch a professional retraining programme for heads of legal and HR departments at Russian and international companies, focusing on personnel security and the protection of personal data. Yury Nadezhin, a lawyer at EPAM Law, will deliver a series of lectures as part of the programme.
The sessions will cover the legal framework governing the processing of employees’ personal data, requirements relating to internal regulatory policies, and the specifics of engagement with supervisory authorities. Particular emphasis will be placed on establishing robust internal compliance systems, minimising exposure to liability, responding effectively to information security incidents, and developing practical action plans for legal and HR functions.
