EPAM Successfully Defended Rostec Corporation and Its Affiliate RT Capital in Its Long-Lasting Dispute With Erste Group Bank A.G.
EPAM in collaboration with the UK law firm Macfarlanes successfully defended the interests of the Russian State Corporation Rosteс and its affiliate RT Capital in its dispute with Erste Group Bank A.G. (Erste) which lasted for about three years.

Ilya Nikiforov and Evgeny Raschevsky Join the Governing Bodies of the Russian Arbitration Association
On April 23, 2015 members of Russian Arbitration Association governing bodies were elected in Moscow. As a result of the vote, Managing Partner of EPAM Ilya Nikiforov was elected as a member of the Board. Evgeny Raschevsky, Head of International Arbitration and Litigation Practice, joined the Arbitrators Nominating Committee.

The official ceremony of awarding the winners of the contest “Best Legal Departments in Belarus – 2014”, one of the major highlights of the year in the legal community, was held on April 10, 2015. “Best Legal Departments in Belarus – 2014” is an annual voluntary competition among the companies’ legal departments. The Minsk office of EPAM was the general partner of the contest.

EPAM Is the Only Law Firm Engaged in the Educational Project Launched by the Ministry of Education and Science of Russia and Kutafin Moscow State Law University
EPAM jointly with the Ministry of Education and Science of Russia and Kutafin Moscow State Law University (MGUA) will be engaged on the global educational project providing an opportunity to combine their studies and internship at the leading Russian companies to the promising students. The project was introduced at the round table entitled “Problems of the Lawyers Professional Training” held on April 3, 2015 at the IX Forum-Exhibition “Legal Career Day at MGUA”. A new approach to internship arrangements for legal students from all over the country will be developed following the project.
