The dispute resolution and arbitration team of EPAM Law Firm defended the interests of the French discount retail chain ATAC, owned by Groupe Auchan SA, in a case concerning one of the chain’s properties. The plaintiffs argued that the property was built without proper permits and approvals and sought its demolition as an illegal construction.
The Firm’s lawyers successfully demonstrated that all urban planning standards were adhered to during the construction and achieved the discontinuation of the proceedings.
The client’s interests in court were represented by Senior Associate of the Litigation Practice, Alexandra Mednikova and Oleg Kurin, under the supervision of the Firm’s Partner Vera Rikhterman. Additionally, Ekaterina Verle, Real Estate and Construction Practice Partner, was involved.
