Vladimir Talanov to speak at ICC Contract Day 2026
On 26 May 2026, the Russian National Committee of the International Chamber of Commerce — the World Business Organization (ICC Russia) will hold the conference International Contract 2026: Law, Cargo Risks and the Transaction Payment Framework. Vladimir Talanov, Partner in the International Arbitration and Litigation practice, will speak at the event.
Vladimir will discuss how the criteria for choosing the seat of arbitration have changed, which jurisdictions continue to demonstrate functional neutrality in practice, and which risks Russian parties should take into account when resolving cross-border disputes.
Particular attention will be paid to the issue of parallel proceedings in several jurisdictions, as well as to the practical aspects of forum selection, coordination of proceedings, and the adaptation of arbitration clauses in existing and new contracts.
Vladimir will also share recommendations on how to minimise procedural risks and retain control over the dispute.
