Vladimir Talanov takes part in the conference "WTO - Opportunity or Threat for Business Development?"
The 2012 Roundtable «WTO - Opportunity or Threat for Business Development?», organized by the Agency of Business Monitoring, will be held in St. Petersburg on April 12, 2012. Vladimir Talanov, an expert of international trade and customs law practice at EPAM, will deliver a report on the legal aspects of changes in business processes for small and medium-sized enterprises after Russia joins WTO.
The range of matters for discussion will include effective functioning of companies in unstable market conditions, the impact of joining WTO on the construction market, assessment of the status and dynamics of the construction materials market as well as issues relating to cooperation with foreign companies in the construction materials market.
Among the participants are business consultants, metal trading companies, and representatives of various industrial enterprises and machinery manufacturers.
In the course of the conference Vladimir will address the main consequences of Russia ’s accession to the WTO for small and medium-sized enterprises, define key mechanisms for protection from the foreign competitors under customs tariff conditions, speak on the expansion of the foreign export market of Russian goods and provide recommendations on effective methods of cooperation between business and the government after Russia joins the WTO.
