EPAM Law to Support the Second All-Russian "UNIK" Congress of Law Faculties
On 30 October 2026, the Second All-Russian Congress of Law Faculty Student Councils, "UNIK", will take place in St Petersburg. The event is being organised by representatives of St Petersburg State University, Moscow State University and other leading Russian universities. EPAM Law will participate as an event partner and headline contributor.
"UNIK" will provide a forum for dialogue between students, business representatives and academics. The congress aims to support the professional development of law students, strengthen cooperation between universities and address topical issues in legal education.
As part of the congress, EPAM Law experts will also deliver a series of masterclasses:
- Masterclass: "Legal Fail: The Top Five Mistakes New Advocates Make – and How to Avoid Them Early in Your Career"

Speaker: Alexander Svashenko, Advocate and Counsel in EPAM Law’s Litigation Practice
The early stages of an advocate’s career bring a range of professional challenges that contribute to the development of practical experience. During the masterclass, participants will examine the most common mistakes made by new advocates and discuss practical ways to avoid them. Alexander will draw on his professional experience to offer advice on making a confident start in the profession.

Taking the first step towards a legal career involves knowing how to present yourself effectively to prospective employers. During the masterclass, participants will learn how to write an effective CV, which skills and achievements to highlight as an aspiring lawyer, and what employers look for when assessing candidates.
- Panel discussion: "The Practice of Advocacy: Current Trends and Emerging Challenges"

Diana will also take part in a panel discussion exploring key trends and opportunities within the Russian Bar.
