Georgy Sur to speak at the 40th Annual Sports Lawyers Association Conference

On May 15-17, 2014, Chicago will host the 40th Annual Sports Lawyers Association Conference. Georgy Sur, Head of Sports Law Practice at EPAM, will be the first lawyer from Russia to speak at the conference which has over forty-year history.

The SLA Annual Conference is designed for attorneys, agents, representatives of professional athletes, professional sports teams and leagues, players associations, stadium and arena authorities, and companies tangentially involved with amateur sports; students and professors of sports law; educators; and all others generally interested in the field of sports law.

Georgy will speak about the features of contracts between players and professional football clubs participating in the competition under the aegis of the Russian Football Union (RFU).
