Evgeny Raschevsky to speak at ICC Russia Conference “Russia as a Place for Dispute Resolution: Anticipating the Changes”
An annual international arbitration conference "Russia as a Place for Dispute Resolution: Anticipating the Changes" hosted by ICC Russia in co-operation with ICC International Court of Arbitration, will be held on December 10, 2013, in Moscow. Evgeny Raschevsky, Partner, Head of the International Litigation Practice at EPAM, will deliver a report to the audience of the conference.
At present the Russian Federation is on the verge of important reforms to the local arbitration regulation and the system of arbitration courts in general, pursuing the object of making Russia more attractive as a place for dispute resolution for the parties. During the last three years ICC Russia has been deeply involved in the process, initiating discussions with state bodies, entrepreneurs’ unions and arbitration experts. Thus, the main issues to be debated at the forthcoming conference and related to the expected changes in Russian arbitration laws are the following:
