EPAM to organise the “Joint Ventures – from beginning until the end” International Seminar
The joint seminar of International Association of Lawyers (UIA) and International Assosiation of Young Lawyers (AIJA) will be held in St. Petersburg on April 16-17th with organizational support of EPA&P St. Petersburg office.
The seminar will assess major legal aspects of setting up, managing and liquidating of joint ventures, including organizational and legal structure, registration procedure, advantages and disadvantages of different approaches.
The speakers of the seminar, top legal experts from Russian and European companies, will discuss details of Russian legislation and common issues arising in the process of setting up a joint venture. The discussion points will include Dispute Resolution between partners, Competition Law, and other legal barriers.
Elena Sokolova and Yaroslav Karnakov, senior lawyers at the St. Petersburg offices of EPAM will present at the seminar, whilst Viktor Dumler, also a senior lawyer at EPA&P will moderate the discussions on Dispute Resolution.
The Seminar will gather the heads of legal departments and in-house lawyers from both Russian and international companies, as well as consultants and representatives of law firms.
