Dmitry Dyakin to Present at the 4th Annual GAR Live Conference in Stockholm
On 21 May 2019, Global Arbitration Review will host its 4th annual conference in Stockholm on leading issues in international arbitration – GAR Live Stockholm. Partner, Co-Head of Litigation Practice at EPAM Dmitry Dyakin will speak at the event.
The conference will gather leading practitioners from across Sweden, Europe and the rest of the world and present an exclusive opportunity to propose questions and weigh in on hot topics such as:
- How to get the right chemistry when choosing an arbitral tribunal;
- Are main hearings too short?
- Is oral advocacy overrated?
Dmitry Dyakin will take part in the last session entitled “The GAR Live Inquisition – is oral advocacy overrated?” that will be presented as a replica of a US senate committee hearing or a UK House of Commons select committee session, in which a succession of witnesses are questioned by a panel of GAR Live inquisitors. The committee will examine whether oral advocacy really is the key to winning a case.
