Dmitry Dyakin and Evgeny Raschevsky to Address the Paris Arbitration Week (PAW)
On 1 – 5 April, 2019, the Paris Home of International Arbitration, the ICC International Court of Arbitration, the Comité Français de l’Arbitrage and the Association Française d’Arbitrage will host the Paris Arbitration Week (PAW). Legal practitioners from Europe, Asia and the USA will gather in one of the world’s key international arbitration centers. Dmitry Dyakin and Evgeny Raschevsky, partners at EPAM, will take part in the events of the PAW.
On 3 April, 2019, within the framework of the PAW, the Russian National Committee of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC Russia) will host the presentation of the ICC Russia Commission on Arbitration. The ICC Russia Survey entitled “Russia as a place for arbitration” will be presented at the event followed by debates among leading Russian attorneys on topical issues of international arbitration including:
- Presumption of validity of the arbitration clause
- Is Russia an open country for arbitration?
- Should the level of transparency for international commercial arbitration proceedings be increased?
Evgeny Raschevsky, Head of International Arbitration and Litigation Practice of the Firm, will chair the debates on the presumption of validity of the arbitration clause.
Dmitry Dyakin, partner and Co-Head of the Firm’s Litigation Practice, will present his views on the topic of Russian amicability in relation to arbitration.
