Denis Turovets to Speak at Seminar on Jurisdictional Challenges in International Arbitration
On 23 September 2026, a seminar entitled “Challenging Jurisdiction in International Arbitration: Theory and Practice, Strategy and Tactics” will take place in Moscow as part of the Russian International Arbitration Congress (RIAC). The seminar is organised by the Chamber of Arbitrators (Minsk, Belarus).
Denis Turovets, Managing Partner of the Minsk office of EPAM Law, will speak at the event (09:00–11:00).
The seminar will address current issues relating to challenges to jurisdiction in international arbitration, including in light of the case law on the application of anti-sanctions measures in the Republic of Belarus and the Russian Federation.
The speakers will share their practical experience of raising and considering jurisdictional objections on various grounds. The discussion will also cover the tactical approaches used by parties and effective procedural strategies for both parties and arbitral tribunals.
