Denis Gavrilov, PhD, Antimonopoly Counsel at EPAM, was awarded the Federal Antimonopoly Service Medal “30-Year Anniversary of the Antimonopoly Authorities” for his contributions to antimonopoly policy implementation and the development of antitrust laws in Russia.
Denis has extensive experience in handling complex antitrust matters. He has been recommended as a leading expert in the field by international and Russian ratings: Chambers Europe, Who’s Who Legal, Best Lawyers, GCR, and Pravo.ru.
He has also been heavily engaged in legislative drafting meant to improve Russian antitrust laws. Specifically, Denis has been engaged in the development of the third, fourth and fifth antimonopoly packages, as well as the Treaty on the Eurasian Economic Union. He is a member of the General Council of the Competition Experts Association, a Deputy Chairman of the Commission on Competition Law of the Association of Russian Lawyers, a member of the FAS Russia’s Methods and Research & Procedure Boards, a Deputy Chairman of the Public Council with the FAS Russia Moscow Directorate, and a member of the Advisory Committee for Antimonopoly Regulation of the Eurasian Economic Commission.
