EPAM is glad to announce that Pavel Sadovsky is promoted to Partner, effective July 1, 2021.
Pavel is the head of Intellectual Property / Technology, Media and Telecommunications (TMT) Practice at the Moscow Office of the Firm. For over 15 years, Pavel has advised pharmaceutical, oil and gas, trading, FMCG and e-commerce companies, as well as software developers and vendors, and system integrators on intellectual property protection and a variety of related matters. As a certified patent attorney, he also represents clients before Rospatent.
Pavel Sadovsky is a member of the Moscow Bar. He is on the Enforcement Committee at the International Trademark Association (INTA), he also serves as the Deputy Chairperson for both the Intellectual Property Committee at the Association of European Businesses (AEB) and the Intellectual Property Commission at ICC Russia. Additionally, he co-founded the Russian IT Lawyers Discussion Club (ITLDC).
Pavel Sadovsky is a renowned intellectual property and TMT expert. He has been recommended by leading international legal directories, including Chambers Global, Chambers Europe, The Legal 500, Best Lawyers, IP Stars, and World Trademark Review 1000. Within Russia, he has been recommended by Pravo.ru-300 and Kommersant.
Pavel holds a Law degree from the Higher School of Economics and a PhD in Law from the Russian State Institute of Intellectual Property. He has also completed business internships in the US: The Special American Business Internship Training Program (SABIT) on "Intellectual Property Rights" organized by the International Trade Administration (ITA) of the US Department of Commerce. Furthermore, he was on a secondment to the New York office of Quinn Emanuel Urquhart & Sullivan LLP, one of the leading US-based litigation firms.
