Vladimir Talanov to take part in the 6th international seminar on standardization <em>Foreign Standards in Industry</em>

Vladimir Talanov, international trade and customs expert at EPAM, to deliver a report at the 6th international seminar on standardization “Foreign Standards in Industry”, which is held on May 21-23, 2012 in St. Petersburg.

The seminar has been annually run by various companies-standards and specifications creators since 2007. The goal of the seminar is to help Russian professionals to be aware of all peculiarities of standardization, certification and quality, when working according to the international standards.

The topics to be discussed are:

  • Similarities and differences in American and European standardization systems
  • Probable consequences of joining WTO in terms of standardization
  • Participation in creating foreign standards. SDO functioning on the Russian market

  • Certification according to foreign standards

  • Creation and maintenance of standardized documents databases within a company (Corporate Database of scientific and technical information)
  • Network licenses (types, advantages, excess, cost estimation)
