Dmitry Dyakin и Evgeny Raschevsky to Speak at the Commercial Arbitration Business Seminar “Challenges and Conclusions of the First Year of the Arbitration Reform”
Third seminar from “Arbitration from А to Z” series sponsored by the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs (RSPP) and the ICC Russia will highlight the initial results of the arbitration reform. Traditionally the event will be supported by EPAM, the Firm’s Partners Dmitry Dyakin and Evgeny Raschevsky are to moderate sessions.
Dmitry Dyakin, Partner, Co-Head of the Litigation Practice, is to moderate the first session “New Arbitration Institutes: Organizational Charts, Arbitrators and Rules”. What challenges are businesses and arbitration tribunals facing after the transitional period of accreditation is over? What are the conclusions of the first year of the arbitration reform? Is there a difference between a permanent arbitration institution and an arbitration tribunal? These questions will be discussed during the session.
Evgeny Raschevsky, Partner, Head of International Arbitration and Litigation, will moderate the session “Practical Aspects of Arbitration” that will cover certain arbitration aspects, including arbitrability of disputes involving state-owned companies, recovery of arbitration costs and of arbitration non-compliance interest, as well as the expert role in arbitration.
The audience of the event will be in-house lawyers, academic community representatives, experts from the leading Russian and international law firms.
