Alexey Andrusenko to Speak at VI Russian IPO Congress

Alexey Andrusenko, head of IPO practice at EPAM will attend the VI Russian IPO Congress in Moscow on October 15, 2010.

The Congress, held annually since 2005, is the first and the largest specialised forum in Russia focused on initial public offerings. The event is attended by heads of government agencies, listed companies, representatives of Russian and foreign exchanges, underwriters, legal advisors, consultancy and rating agencies, and leading self-regulated organizations in the financial market.

The event will focus on:

  • Legislative initiatives facilitating the IPO market recovery
  • New approaches to boosting capitalization
  • Alternatives and comparative analysis of selecting sources of capital, advisors, stock exchange and investors

Leading analysts will discuss the potential of increasing investor demand for Russian securities as the economy recovers and will particularly focus on practical experience in raising funds on Russian and foreign stock exchanges.

The programme of the event also involves an IPO-OLYMP awards ceremony. Established in 2006, the award aims to promote Russian issuers among investment community.

Admission is free for companies planning their IPO in 2010.
