EPAM to conduct business discussion on ‘Disputing Cadastral Value: Changes to Legislation and Practical Legal Applications’
In July 2014, significant amendments were introduced to the Federal Law ‘On Appraisal Practice’ and other regulatory acts, changing the procedure for disputing cadastral values, the jurisdiction of these disputes, and the way new cadastral values are applied. In addition to the November 2013 amendments to the second part of the Russian Tax Code, there are also plans to amend local St. Petersburg legislation by the end of 2014 so that an organization’s property tax base will be calculated based on cadastral values. This could mean another rash of disputes regarding property cadastral values.
The business discussion will take place on 27 November 2014 (Thursday), from 10:00 to 12:30, at the Firm’s St. Petersburg office (24 Nevsky Prospekt, 4th floor).
