On September 28, 2021, Pravo.ru released the results of its research identifying the most significant players on the Russian bankruptcy market among law firms, based on the review of the final arbitrazh court decisions of 2020.
According to the results, EPAM tops the list of law firms advising on high value bankruptcy disputes, where the average value of a decision amounts to approximately RUB 20bn. EPAM was ranked in the leading tier of the federal rankings of firms engaged for handling most important cases in terms of number of disputes (up to 30 cases). The Firm is also among the leaders for handling the highest value proceedings involving subsidiary liability, totaling RUB 470bn.
The research methods includes analysis of the total amount of claims, the average amount per case, the number of final judgments in 2020 and the outcome of legal proceedings.
