Olga Mischenko to Speak at Russian PPP Week-2017
From 28 to 31 March 2017, the Russian PPP Week infrastructure congress will take place in Moscow. The event is organised by the PPP Development Center and supported by the relevant federal ministries, the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Delovaya Rossiya, and the Agency for Strategic Initiatives. Olga Mischenko, Head of the Real Estate, Construction and PPP Practice at the St. Petersburg Office of EPAM, will participate in one of the round table discussions at the congress.
The congress programme includes a business agenda and an educational section: the schedule over the first three days will focus on discussions, with the final day of PPP Week-2017 devoted to masterclasses, expert sessions and other educational activities. Every year, the congress brings together government representatives, leading Russian and foreign experts in attracting investment, infrastructure and public-private partnership, private business figures, and representatives of the banking and finance community. This year, Russian PPP Week is expected to host around 1600 participants from 70 regions of Russia.
Olga Mischenko will speak at the round table discussion “Competitive selection and private initiative: judicial practice, common mistakes and legal bottlenecks”. She will present a report on potential antitrust risks in PPP projects and possible preventive actions. Olga will illustrate how some aspects of investment initiatives might lead to scrutiny by the Federal Anti-Monopoly Service of the PPP projects in question.
