Ilya Nikiforov to Hold Master Class for Association of Lawyers of Russia

On 28 April 2016, the next master class for young lawyers will be held under the auspices of the Association of Lawyers of Russia (ALR) Interregional Office for St. Petersburg and Leningrad Region. Ilya Nikiforov, Managing Partner of EPAM, will give a lecture entitled ‘International business practice: Standard forms of contract and foreign trade arbitration’.

As a result of the master class, participants will:

• Gain an understanding of modern views on the legal execution of international transactions;
• Learn a reliable and legally sound approach to entering into international contracts and resolving disputes through international arbitration;
• Develop basic knowledge of how to independently prepare, conclude and execute international contracts, and resolve related disputes.

This is the third time the master class for young lawyers has been held, and it is once again being organized by Marina Gassiy, Honoured Lawyer of the Russian Federation, member of the Board of the ALR’s Interregional Office for St. Petersburg and Leningrad Region, and Director for Legal Support at Vodokanal of St. Petersburg.

The event traditionally takes place at the premises of the Universe of Water museum, located in the heart of St. Petersburg.
