Alexey Karchemov to Speak at the II All-Russian Maritime Congress
On 24–25 September 2024, Moscow will host the II All-Russian Maritime Congress, a key event for port authorities, shipowners, and other representatives of the maritime sector. Alexey Karchemov, Partner and Head of the Maritime and Transport Law Practice at EPAM Law, will participate as a speaker.
The Congress serves as a unique platform for experience sharing, business networking, and showcasing opportunities in the maritime industry. The event will bring together over 2,000 delegates from 15 countries, with a programme featuring around 30 business discussions and exhibitions.
Topics for discussion include:
- Development of the Greater Northern Sea Route
- Investment tools and financial solutions for Russia’s maritime industry
- Infrastructure modernisation: the strategy for developing Russian shipbuilding

Alexey Karchemov will act as moderator of the strategic session «International Cooperation in the Maritime Industry: Balancing Interests and Opportunities» (25 September, 10:30–12:00).
