Nikolai advises on Russian and international tax matters, as well as on currency regulation. He is experienced in tax audits and litigation, structuring business and private capital from a tax perspective, advising on the tax implications of transactions and investment projects, conducting tax due diligence, contributing to legislative work, and preparing tax and currency reports.
Projects in which Nikolai has been involved include:
- Supporting business restructuring
- Preparing legal opinions on tax risks associated with various projects
- Defending the tax legitimacy of a business structures
- Supporting tax audits for a group of companies
Nikolai holds both a bachelor's and a master's degrees in law awarded with distinction from the Faculty of Law at Lomonosov Moscow State University.
He is fluent in English.
