Online Discussion «New Developments in Corporate Laws and the Russian Supreme Court Views: Guidelines for Work in 2021»
EPAM and Corporate Lawyer magazine are inviting you to join their webinar “New Developments in Corporate Laws and the Russian Supreme Court Views: Guidelines for Work in 2021”, which is to be held on February 17, 2021, from 11:00 to 12:30.
In 2020, major amendments were made to corporate laws: the procedure for withdrawal from a company changed, joint/independent authorities of directors may now be recorded, new forms of registration documents were introduced, and the digital notarization law became operative.
The law enforcement authority has been developing new views, which require businesses to reconsider their approaches to corporate procedures. Specifically, changes have been introduced to case law following the Russian Supreme Court review of certain matters of enforcement of the laws on business companies, and the pre-emptive right to a share has been declared a discretion.
At the online discussion, attorneys of EPAM will address the key legislative amendments and their effect for businesses, and will share conclusions made based on the current case law.
Topics for discussion*:
- Analysis of case law following the Russian Supreme Court review of certain matters of enforcement of the laws on business companies: landmark explanations
- New rules for withdrawal from a limited liability company: what one needs to know
- Digital notarization: procedure, advantages and disadvantages
- New document forms for registration of legal entities: covering a “two-key” principle, a model charter and an executed shareholders agreement
